The last thing you want is to handle things like the cake getting delivered, but not assembled; caterers not bringing enough plates/cutlery/napkins, etc.; flowers delivered to the wrong place; venue closed due to flood, power outage, etc., etc., etc., and surely no one wants to visit that on mom, sister, best friend, etc. In reality, a Wedding Planner is as key to any smooth, successful wedding as any other vendor, and pays for itself thru the affiliate/trade discounts! It's not as expensive as some people think! I liken getting married without a coordinator to putting on a show, and being the lead actor, director, stage hand and crew all in one! Hoping everyone has a fantastic summer, and all those brides out there have a fabulous wedding and many happy years ahead!
